The BCS Foundation Spring Fundraising Event 

Raising funds to support Beverly Cleary School

in the 2023-2024 School Year

With the funds we raise, BCS will hire an educational assistant(s) to work alongside our new Instructional Coach and Climate Specialist as well as our Reading Specialist. Our goal is to prioritize growing an empathetic, inclusive, and engaged community of learners, and this position will be vital in making that happen. From facilitating organized play at recess to supporting small groups of students in need of an extra dip of support academically, this person will create systems along the way. 

After the first $10,000 raised, one-third of all local school foundation proceeds are donated to the PPS Parent-Equity Fund, a central fund managed by PPS that grants this money to high-need schools through a criteria set by the district. 

You can support the BCS Foundation this Spring by:

1.  Purchasing tickets to our cocktail party & fundraising event on June 1st, 6:30pm to 9:00pm at the Laurelhurst Club.  Tickets are $50 per person and include dinner and a drink. Come party like it is 1999 and support BCS.

2. Donating directly to the BCS Foundation!  Every little bit counts. All donations are greatly appreciated.

3. Participating in our ONLINE AUCTION opening Wednesday, May 31st and closing Saturday June 3rd.

4.  Volunteering  your time! Come back here for volunteer sign up opportunities in the coming weeks.

5.  Making an in-kind donation to our online auction and event raffle.
